Shadow Magic variants

No cosmetic variants are confirmed for Shadow Magic yet. The Magics overview lists Void, Bloodshade, Miasma and Phantom as Shadow variants; the Shadow page says none are confirmed yet. Variants only change how the spells look; they do not change damage or cooldowns. You may get one when you first receive your grimoire, and you can reroll a variant from the Ability tab of the Tab menu.

How to get Shadow Magic

Reach level 15 and start the grimoire quest at Wisdom Peak, the floating island in the Kamo Region. Each roll gives Shadow a 15% chance. If you land something else, you can reroll with Robux, with Essence from the shop, or by wiping your character at level 15 while choosing not to keep your grimoire.

Who should pick Shadow Magic

PvP players who want to stick to a target. Shadow Tendril slows and tethers, Dark Haste cripples, and both passives are cheap at 100 Marks each, so Shadow comes online early.
