The Clover RPG broom is your flying mount, and you earn it in the Kamo tutorial from a villager named Johan. After that, three broom races across the regions pay out EXP, and the Broom Flying profession makes you faster and lets you climb higher. This guide covers how to get a broom, where each race starts and what every Broom Flying tier does.
Clover RPG broom: unlock it with Johan
Talk to Johan in Kamo Village and take the quest Winds of Freedom. He wants materials to build affordable brooms for the village:
- Gather Cloth.
- Gather 2 Wood. You can buy Wood near the blacksmith.
- Return to Johan.
The reward is 200 EXP, 25 Marks and the broom unlock. The quest does not repeat. It is step 4 of the tutorial in the Clover RPG beginner guide, and every other quest giver is in Clover RPG quests.
Clover RPG broom races
There are three races, one in each region. Follow the white location symbol to find a start point.
- Broomshroom Zoom: the Broomshroom Race in Mushroom Village. Gargamel's quest Earn Your Wings asks you to finish it for 75 EXP and 25 Marks, and it repeats on a 10 minute cooldown.
- Elden Derby: in the Eldritch Region. Talk to Tinycap to enter.
- Kamo Broom Blitz: talk to Boone near the starter village blacksmith. The race itself is east or south-east of the blacksmith.
Finish all three for Daeron the Daring's quest Broom Derby, which pays 250 EXP and 55 Marks once. The wiki does not say where Daeron stands. Region maps and area lists are in Clover RPG locations, and the Clover RPG level guide shows where this EXP fits.
Broom Flying profession tiers
Broom Flying is one of five professions, each with six tiers built through experience. Tier I gives nothing, and the rest are:
| Tier | Benefit |
|---|---|
| II | +10% max altitude |
| III | +10% flight speed |
| IV | Pressing block on your broom sends out a wave that knocks nearby players off their brooms |
| V | +15% max altitude |
| VI | +15% flight speed, a special broom and the title Air Savant |
Block is held with F on PC; see the Clover RPG controls. The other four professions are in Clover RPG professions. The wiki does not list the experience needed per tier, and perks can change in a patch, so check Clover RPG updates.
Air Savant is the title for reaching the top Broom Flying level. A separate guild perk, Slipstream, can give a speed bonus to guild members flying behind you. The wiki does not say which tier unlocks it.
