These Clover RPG controls cover every key you need on PC: attacks, block and parry, dodge and roll cancel, sprint, slide and the advanced moves like misdirect, uppercut and downslam. The game supports keyboard and mouse as well as gamepads, and combat is built around timing, so learning the parry and dodge keys early pays off in the Kamo tutorial and on every boss after it.

You can change some bindings in settings, for example the way you sprint. Your basic attack and critical attack also change with the weapon you hold, so Gauntlets and a Longsword feel different on the same keys. Clover RPG parry and block
Hold F to block. Every blocked hit fills your posture bar, and if you block while posture is already high you are guardbroken and stunned, so do not hold block through a whole combo. To parry, tap F just before an incoming attack lands. The wiki gives no parry window, so practice on the wolves in Captain Dalen's request from the Clover RPG beginner guide before you meet a boss.
Parrying and dodging also feed one trait: Arcane Rebound restores 5% of your mana each time you do either, and it is listed with the rest in the Clover RPG traits guide.
Clover RPG dodge, roll and sprint
Press Q with a movement key to dash in that direction. Press RMB during the dodge to cancel it early; you can do this twice before the dodge goes on cooldown. Sprint by double-tapping a direction key, slide with Ctrl while running, and press Space twice next to a wall to climb it.
Two Agility traits change the dodge. Graceful Escape adds 10% dodge frames, and Rapid Reflex lets you dodge again after a roll cancel at the price of a longer cooldown. Check what Agility does in the Clover RPG stats guide before you spend points.
Clover RPG combat: advanced attacks
- Running attack: LMB while running.
- Aerial attack: LMB while airborne after a jump. In Shift Lock it applies knockdown.
- Downslam critical: RMB while airborne. It only works in Shift Lock.
- Uppercut: Ctrl + LMB together.
- Misdirect: RMB during a basic attack cancels it before it lands. Use it to bait an opponent into blocking.
Strength raises misdirect damage, and the Liver Shot trait adds 20% more. Against Clover RPG bosses these inputs matter most, because a boss punishes a mistimed swing harder than a wolf does. Brooms add one more: at Broom Flying Tier IV, pressing block while flying knocks nearby riders off their brooms, covered in the Clover RPG broom guide.
Controller and mobile support
Gamepads are supported, but the wiki does not list the controller layout for the Clover RPG controls yet. The Roblox game page links an official controls post on the Roblox DevForum, which is the place to check button mapping.
